'Scoop', directed by Philip Martin, is a Netflix feature film set to be released in 2024. It follows the story leading up to and including the infamous BBC Newsnight interview between Prince Andrew and Emily Maitlis.
As part of the art department, we were required to deliver a variety of sets. We had to replicate a range of sets, from the BBC Newsnight offices, to number of royal spaces, to domestic settings.

On of the sets was a recreation of the Buckingham Palace gates. To stay within budget, we focused on the main entrance and the details of this segment of the gate, as this part of the gate was scripted. We decided that most of the embellishments on the gates' pillars could be comprised of Peter Evans Studios carvings and embellishments.

We had to recreate the Buckingham Palace Sentry boxes, which are positioned directly behind the gates and would be visible in the shot. I was tasked with modelling and drafting this part of the set. This was my first time using Sketchup and Layout in its full potential so this was a good opportunity to learn how this programme works.
I then arranged a dressing plan document for the art department, set-dec and props to refer to when dressing the set.
